Our experience with Four Quadrants has been great. It exceeded our expectations and they have integrity, wonderful to work with. It's been a very close relationship with them. Like a brother, like family. I can't imagine practicing without them.

Andrew and Jen discuss how their relationship with Four Quadrants has greatly improved their business.
Dr. Andrew Gilfillan’s extensive experience, dedication to patient satisfaction, and his devotion to advanced continuing education make possible a high level of care. His desire to listen to and respect his patient’s concerns is reflected in a comfortable and gentle patient experience.
Following graduation from the College of William and Mary, and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1993, Dr. Gilfillan completed a general practice residency from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 1994. Prior to returning to Williamsburg, he held family practice positions in Winchester and Leesburg, where he was active in the community. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Peninsula Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, where he holds a fellowship, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
25 years.
Almost 25 years. Next month will be 25 years, we'll be married. Yes. Well, we met in dental school and I was working as a physical therapist in the same campus. We liked each other, but we both were too shy to do anything about it.
Time where we played tennis together, I think God was tired of us, both stalling and God sent a massive hurricane to Richmond, Virginia, and we had to run for cover into a car, found a little restaurant and we sat down and the server came up and said, "Is this your first date?" to us.
And then we just found that restaurant again this year and we found the booth we had sat in and it was just a neat little thing that happened just before our 25th anniversary.
I think I've come to a place in my career where I realized that I didn't want to make any more mistakes. I wanted to be able to provide the best for my family, that I could. It's a peace of mind to know that if anything were to happen with me, that they would be taken care of.
We have three children, two are getting ready to go to college. One's already in college and one's getting ready to go to college. And one younger one at home. We are close, very close.
There's only so much money, and you want to make sure that you're using it wisely. And that there is enough for our children. Our youngest child has special needs and she will always be dependent upon us.
And so that factors into a lot of our planning for the future to have an approach where our goals are geared toward something as specialized as having a child who's going to need us longterm and Four Quadrants has really helped put us at ease in terms of planning for that.
The best news that we heard was regarding a decision we were struggling with about being able to hire another staff member and seeing the numbers financially, that supported us being able to very black and white say, yes, we can afford to do this. It's the time it's needed, it'll improve patient care. That decision it made me feel good about being able to have peace going into that.
Best news I heard was savings. Savings, the amount where we had saved this year and also lowering our overhead. Not even realizing we had done it, not having to work harder and make any significant changes.
I would recommend Four Quadrants because for a long time, we did not have an advisory consultant and we made a lot of mistakes and we wasted a lot of time and probably a lot of money making decisions and agonizing over them. I see him having more time, less stress and being able to just do what he loves.
Our experience with Four Quadrants has been great. It exceeded our expectations and they have integrity, wonderful to work with. It's been a very close relationship with them. Like a brother, like family. I can't imagine practicing without them.
