Matt Bates is a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in wealth management and planning. Born on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, he was raised in Northwest Indiana. After graduating from high school in 2000, Matt earned a degree in Financial Counseling and Planning from Purdue University in 2004. In 2015, Matt achieved the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations and Finance for his family's business.
Matt is a Noblesville resident happily celebrating 12 years of marriage. He’s a busy dad to a 10-year-old daughter and two sons, ages 8 and 4. When he’s not chasing after his kids, he enjoys spending time with his energetic 2-year-old mixed-breed dog, Loki.
A sports enthusiast, Matt follows American football, basketball, and baseball closely. He’s also dedicated to his kids’ athletic pursuits, coaching their soccer teams for the past several years. With a passion for friendly competition, Matt is an avid fantasy sports player, managing leagues for football, basketball, and baseball year-round.
